Sydney is the most populated city in Australia and Oceania at 4.8 million people. The city’s population is expected to grow by approximately 2% on average per year until 2029 [1] and will support further job growth; during the past 5 years over 50,000 jobs were added to the city [2]

The city is home to famous landmarks including the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Tower which attract millions of tourists every year. Sydney’s economy grew 4.3% in 2013-2014 and is the fastest growth rate in 14 years led by its large financial services sector. The city’s population is expected to grow by approximately 2% on average per year until 2029 [3]. The Sydney housing market saw an increase of nearly 12% outperforming other major cities as Melbourne at 4.5% and Brisbane at 5.3% for 2014.
